In the role of an Onsite Support Engineer, your primary responsibility is to promptly address issues concerning modules manufactured by the client at one of their key client's locations. The tasks at hand may range from simple assignments, such as replacing brackets, to intricate electronic malfunctions. Drawing upon a comprehensive database that documents past incidents and utilizing your adept problem-solving skills, you will deliver exceptional support.
The duties of a Support Engineer are varied and encompass a blend of on-site support and participation in testing activities within our clients' facilities. During testing, collaboration with colleagues is key as you collectively analyze and rectify complex mechatronic module issues. The testing process emphasizes the identification of production and material faults, coupled with providing support during the product development phase.
In this multifaceted role, your contribution is integral to systematically minimizing quality issues. You will actively support production activities and engage with the development department to address and resolve challenges.
Qualifications
MBO+/HBO level of education or equivalent experience.
A proactive and service-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on problem-solving and prevention.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Motivated to grow within the role and expand its scope independently.
Willingness to work in a 2-shift schedule and one weekend per 4 weeks, with the weekend work compensated by a weekday off, scheduled in consultation with your manager.
